Fourth of July is just days away, but that doesn't mean its too late to plan a long holiday weekend getaway. According to Travelzoo there are still deals to be had at hotels in popular destinations around the country - from the nation's capital to the west coast. Here's a look at the last minute possibilities waiting to be snatched up.

Washington D.C.

Visit D.C. over the holiday and stay at the Hampton Inn by Hilton NoMA Union Station, where Travelzoo says deals are still available. Prices over July 4 can be found starting at around $122 per night at this property, which is about six miles from Reagan National Airport and 1.5 miles from the Union Station Metro station. The hotel also includes free hot breakfasts and spacious rooms, some with views of the Capitol.

Palm Springs, California

If the heat doesn't bother you, Palm Springs is yet another location where it's still possible to book a holiday retreat. Rooms at The Saguaro Palm Springs can be found starting at about $112 per night over July 4. The hotel is less than a 10-minute drive from Palm Springs International Airport and includes amenities such as an Olympic size pool and an on-site restaurant that serves up authentic Mexican street food. Conde Nast Traveler called The Saguaro one of the city's coolest boutique hotels.

Miami Beach, Florida

Chicago, Illinois

Travelzoo recommends The Kimpton Gray, a luxe boutique hotel near Millennium Park. Rooms at this 4.5-star hotel in the heart of Chicago's Loop can be found for as low as $114 per night over the holiday.

Cincinnati, Ohio

The Queen City is known for its street festivals, sporting events, and outdoor offerings, all of which can be explored over the holiday weekend. Rooms at The Summit, A Dolce Hotel, can be found starting at about $119 per night. Knoxville, Tennessee
