The first month of 2021 saw significant impacts to travel. In addition to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, a new president took office and immediately announced new requirements for travelers. Throughout January 2021, the U.S. State Department was hard at work assessing the various threat levels for Americans traveling abroad, issuing more than two dozen updated travel advisories.
