The American Society of Travel Advisors (ASTA) is celebrating Global Travel Advisor Day ahead of May 1 by giving away a handful of exciting prizes.During ASTA's social media contest, advisors can win a set of two roundtrip tickets on Southwest Airlines, registration for the sold-out 2025 River Cruise Expo on Vienna, Austria and a grand prize of a four-night stay at the new Sandals Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Resort.
ASTA is also giving away registration for the 2025 Travel Advisor Conference and 2025 Caribbean Showcase.To be eligible to win, advisors can simply post one of ASTA's pre-made social media graphics to social media. Download an image from ASTA's Social Media Toolkit, then share it on Instagram or Facebook with the hashtag #GlobalTravelAdvisorDay2024.In the caption, include three reasons why consumers should use a travel advisor. Afterward, send an email with the subject line "SOCIAL MEDIA CONTEST" containing a link to your post to [email protected] along with your name to confirm your membership status.Finally, advisors can RSVP to the Global Travel Advisor Day live event on May 1 at 2 p.m. ET to find out if they won a prize.
