Delta Air Lines announced several new beverage offerings from a seasonally-inspired lineup that spotlights the first U.S. Black-owned distillery and Une Femme's 100 percent women-made wine.
Du Nord Social Spirits is the first Black-owned distillery in the U.S. and its Foundation Vodka will be available for sale on all of Delta's domestic flights starting October. In 2022, the airline plans to add more Du Nord products and launch the spirits internationally.
Une Femme produces 100 percent women-made champagne and sparkling wine, with the company's sparkling rose will be available for sale on select domestic flights throughout October. Delta plans to bring more Une Femme products onboard in 2022.
"Working with suppliers who not only provide us with the best products but also help us offer products that are made by people who reflect the communities we serve is a meaningful demonstration of our core values at work," Delta Managing Director Mike Henny said.
The carrier will also offer other products onboard, including Breckenridge Brewery's Cookie Porter Beer, WhistlePig's Orange Fashioned Cocktail Kit, Tip Top Proper Cocktails Negroni, Terrapin Beer Company Hopsecutioner IPA and Vizzy Hard Seltzer Pineapple Mango.
In addition to the new beverage offerings available throughout October, Delta revealed plans to donate 20 percent of all onboard purchases to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
