Carnival Cruise Line is gearing up for its 55th birthday in 2027.
The company plans to celebrate by organizing meetups of ships at sea. Travelers aboard 11 birthday cruises will have a chance to participate in three gatherings near Celebration Key and the recently renamed RelaxAway, Half Moon Cay.
The celebratory voyages range from three to eight days long.
In addition to the meetups, travelers can also enjoy a birthday-themed specialty cocktail, special birthday cakes at restaurants, a Lido dessert buffet extravaganza and party games and trivia.
Carnival Spirit, Carnival Elation, Carnival Legend and Carnival Freedom will meet on March 9 near Celebration Key. Meanwhile, Carnival Jubilee, Carnival Legend and Carnival Pride will meet on March 10 near RelaxAway, Half Moon Cay.
Finally, Carnival Celebration, Carnival Vista, Carnival Glory, Carnival Sunrise and Carnival Conquest will meet on March 13 near Celebration Key.
Carnival started sailing in 1972 with one ship. Today, it has a fleet of 27 ships—with plans to add two more in the spring of 2025 in Australia.
