Storied Norwegian line Hurtigruten is celebrating its 131st anniversary this year, and to celebrate, it launched its Summer Sale offering up to 50 percent off on select cruises when travelers book now through July 31, 2024.
The Summer Sale offers several different ways to save, with up to 50 percent off all departures on The Coastal Express through March 2025 and up to 35 percent off plus nearly $500 (5,000 Norwegian Krone) in onboard credit for all departures between April 2025 through March 2026.
Those enjoying half or full voyages onboard The Svalbard Line can enjoy 15-25 percent off all 2024 departures or 15 percent off plus nearly $500 in onboard credit for all full 2025 voyages.
The North Cape Line’s half and full voyages departing between December 2024 and May 2025 are currently offering up to 35 percent savings. Those booking this itinerary between September 2025 and April 2026 will receive 10 percent off plus nearly $500 in onboard credit.
The savings offer is combinable with the Ambassador and Child offers. Hurtigruten offers family-friendly cruising, and children under the age of sixteen enjoy 50 percent off their cruise fares and their excursions.
The 1893 Ambassador Program is free to join and is available for anyone to join. Those who register can enjoy select offers and enhanced benefits during a cruise, including free Wi-Fi, a 5 percent discount on excursions, a welcome gift and other discounts for partnered brands, like 15 percent savings at all Strawberry Hotels in the Nordics and the Baltics.
The Ambassador Program offers two levels of rewards: Level 1 is the basic level all travelers begin at, whereas those who travel onboard for 3 or more consecutive nights and 24 hours post-travel will be upgraded to Level 2. Those who have already met the Level 2 requirements prior to Ambassador registration will be automatically joined at Level 2 membership, which provides some added discounts.
Additionally, those who book the North Cape Line or Coastal Express voyages over 11 days long departing during selected months will be able to enjoy the line’s Northern Lights Promise, which ensures that should you be unable to view the Northern Lights during your voyage, you’ll receive a free 6-day southbound or 7-day northbound Coastal Express journey to make up for it.
Travelers can enjoy the guarantee when they travel September 20, 2024 through March 31, 2025 on North Cape Line voyages and The Coastal Express voyages.
