Oceania Cruises is unveiling new details about the culinary offerings onboard its new ship Allura.
The vessel, slated to debut in July, will have reimagined menus in the Grand Dining Room, featuring more than 270 brand new recipes. At breakfast, lunch and dinner, travelers can expect delicious dishes like eggs benedict florentine, beef Wellington, Maine lobster with risotto and more.
“Dining is the cornerstone of the Oceania Cruises experience, and the new menus for the Grand Dining Room are a shining example of the culinary artistry of our talented team,” says
Frank A. Del Rio, president of Oceania Cruises. “Every dish reflects craftsmanship, passion and unparalleled quality perfectly aligning with the warmth and elegance of the onboard experience and service that our guests cherish.”
The menu redevelopment project was led by chefs Alexis Quaretti and Eric Barale, the line’s executive culinary directors and resident master chefs of France.
“In crafting these new dishes, I drew deep inspiration from my childhood, family life, and of course, from across my career, including collaborations with renowned Chef Jacques Pépin, our culinary patriarch,” says Quaretti.
The 1,200-guest Allura is the second ship in Oceania’s Allura Class and the eighth vessel overall. The ship will have one chef for every 10 guests.
Travelers will be able to indulge at the line's signature French restaurant, Jacques, as well as a wellness-inspired venue called Aquamar Kitchen. Allura will also feature a hands-on Culinary Center and accompanying Chef's Studio, where guests can learn tips and tricks from onboard instructors. They can also enjoy food and wine pairing experiences, demonstrations and other food-centric activities.
