Windstar Cruises Unveils Romantic New Packages Inspired by 'The Golden Bachelorette'

Windstar Cruises played a starring role in Joan Vassos’ search for love on “The Golden Bachelorette.” Now, inspired by the romance Vassos found in French Polynesia, the cruise line is offering new air, hotel and cruise packages.  

Vassos and her three final suitors flew to French Polynesia with Air Tahiti Nui. Then, Vassos boarded Windstar Cruises’ 312-guest Star Breeze to explore the islands in the South Pacific. Her final dates included a private catamaran tour, an ATV ride into the jungle and a Tahitian bonding ceremony. She also had dates at the Hilton Conrad Bora Bora Nui and Intercontinental Bora Bora Resort & Thalasso Spa hotels.

The new packages were created in partnership between Windstar Cruises, Air Tahiti Nui and Tahiti Tourisme. Here’s what they include.

• One-night stay at the Intercontinental Tahiti Resort in Papeete 
• Three-night stay in an overwater bungalow at Sofitel Kia Ora Moorea
• ATV and snorkeling excursions
• 6-day voyage with Windstar Cruises

Golden Days in Bora Bora Air + Overwater Villa:

• Roundtrip flights from Los Angeles on Air Tahiti Nui 
• One-night stay at the Intercontinental Tahiti Resort in Papeete 
• Two-night stay in an overwater bungalow at Hilton Conrad Bora Bora Nui 
• Weeklong voyage with Windstar Cruises

Golden Days in Bora Bora Air + Overwater Villa:

• Roundtrip flights from Seattle on Air Tahiti Nui 
• Two-night stay in an overwater bungalow at at the Intercontinental Bora Bora Resort & Thalasso Spa 
• Weeklong voyage with Windstar Cruises
• One-night stay at the Intercontinental Tahiti Resort in Papeete 

All of the packages include transfers in Tahiti between airport, hotels and ship. Gourmet breakfast and Wi-Fi are included at the hotels. 

Once aboard Star Breeze, guests can add even more romance to their journey by booking experiences like a couples massage, rose petal bed turndown and a private dinner under the stars. Packages are also available for vow renewals, engagements and weddings.
