Having little to no artistic talent doesn't mean you can't immerse yourself in a masterpiece.
At least that's what we gleaned from the following Mashable video that features the Art in Island installation in Manila, Philippines.
It's essentially a museum that allows you to take one heck of a picture. Patrons get extremely close to the works, which lead to images that are near 3D.
So if you ever wanted to pretend you were about to be gobbled whole by a giant fish or float effortlessly in a bottle, you are in luck:
Blyth Cambaya, who is the corporate secretary of the museum, offered thoughts on the interactive location: "Here, art paintings are not complete if you are not with them… if you don't take pictures with them."
And that seems to be the case as the already vibrant images come to life with visitors walking, smiling and snapping pictures in each image's vicinity.
More information can be found at the museum's Facebook page, which is filled with pictures of patrons who managed to get lost in the art.
So many museums mandate tourists to look but not touch, to appreciate but not interact. Things are beautifully twisted at Art in Island, where the art seems to envelop all who visit.
