The moment the flight attendant or captain takes the mic to regale passengers with in-flight announcements is the second we all tune out. That wouldn't be the case if we ever heard the following come across the speakers.
What follows (h/t Huffington Post) are our favorite tweets from a hashtag started by Comedy Central's "@midnight," which stars Chris Hardwick and a revolving cast of comedians.
As we see, it's really rather simple to play along with #BadInFlightAnnouncements.
Just consider the one thing that would turn a normally boring flight into an adrenaline-inducing ride of horror.

• Captain again, the fuel light came on, but we can totally go forever on this reserve tank.
