Theme park fans have been waiting patiently for more information from Disney about Star Wars-themed attractions coming to the facilities, and nerds around the world can now rejoice.
Officials from Disneyland and Walt Disney World Resort announced this week that Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge will open next year. The highly-anticipated attraction will debut at Disneyland in summer 2019 and late fall 2019 at Disney World.

Earlier this year, Disney World revealed details about its fully immersive Star Wars-inspired resort that will connect to Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge land at Disney's Hollywood Studios. Guests will be permitted to dress in attire from the movie franchise and become a resident of the galaxy.
