Walt Disney World Resort announced the Disney Springs
Flavors of Florida presented by CORKCICLE events will return this summer.
The 2023 edition of the Disney Springs Flavors of Florida will
run between July 1 and August 13, and bring the tastes, techniques, ingredients
and culture of the Sunshine State to life through curated menu items at many of
the most popular restaurants at the complex.
The Florida festivities at Disney Springs kicked off at
Jaleo on June 20 with the revealing of the famous recipe for paella. The next
featured restaurants in the series are Wine Bar George (July 7), The Polite Pig
(July 14), Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’ (July 21), Gideon’s Bakehouse (July 28) and
the final event hosted by acclaimed Disney chefs on August 4.
All remaining events will take place at Waterview Park. There
is no admission charge to the culinary events, as guests will just need to
register to attend before sampling the dishes and interacting with the chefs.
Between the culinary series events, guests can experience
menu items with a Florida twist at various Disney Springs establishments, starting
on July 1, including Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar will offer Florida shrimp tacos.
Last week, Disney World announced new experiences, sights,
sounds and sweet treats for the 2023 winter holiday travel season. At Hollywood
Studios, travelers can enjoy a new nighttime party, dubbed Disney
Jollywood Nights, on 10 select nights between November 11 and December 20.
The separately ticketed events take place from 8:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. local
time.
