As the travel industry looks back on a wild 2023, the Walt
Disney World Resort is looking forward to 2024 with events, openings and
tips for the new year.
For Annual Passholders, good-to-go days will be added to the
reservation calendar, Annual Passholder admissions calendar and My Disney
Experience app, starting on January 11, allowing qualified guests to enter the
theme parks without a reservation.
Good-to-go days will be added periodically and may be
released days or weeks in advance.
With the return of all-day
Park Hopper access on January 9, passholders can enter another theme park
any time during park hours. Annual Passholders may also continue to visit
without a park reservation after 2 p.m. unless visiting Magic Kingdom Park on a
Saturday or Sunday.
In addition, visitors who purchase standard date-based
tickets no longer need to make theme park reservations, making it easier to
visit EPCOT when its transformation is completed and Tiana’s Bayou Adventure at
Magic Kingdom Park when it opens, both coming in 2024.
For guests staying at Disney
Resort hotels, they will once again be able to purchase vacation packages
with dining plans. Visitors can choose from two popular options: the Disney
Quick Service Dining Plan or the Disney Dining Plan.
Dining reservations are already open for resort guests
staying at Disney properties in January and February, with people being able to
book dining up to 60 days in advance and for the entire length of their stay.
In October, Disney World announced it would relaunch its Disney
After Hours events on January 10 at Hollywood Studios, January 11 at Magic
Kingdom Park and February 2 at EPCOT. Lower wait times for attractions and a
chance to explore the park in the evening are just two benefits to the Disney
After Hours Events, which can be purchased with designated After Hours tickets.
