Officials from Walt Disney World Resort announced that
travelers arriving at the theme park with a Park Hopper ticket or Annual Pass
will be able to visit another park at any time of the day, starting on January
9, 2024.
Since the Park Hopper benefits returned in 2021, guests with
tickets only had access after 2 p.m. local time each day. Travelers with the
special passes can now have more flexibility to explore Disney World’s theme
parks the way they want and enjoy even more during their visits.
On days when reservations are required, Park Hopper and Annual
Pass holders will be able to take advantage of the changes by booking a visit
to one park and then heading to another when ready for something new.
Passholders will also be happy to learn that Good-to-go days
are scheduled to return in January, allowing travelers to visit a Disney World
theme park without reservation, but blackout dates will continue to apply.
In recent months, Disney World has added or brought back
several ways to make a visit easier for families, including complimentary
self-parking for Disney Resort hotel stays, the return of parking trams and digital
downloads of select PhotoPass attraction photos included in the purchase of
Disney Genie+ service.
In addition, Disney dining plans will once again be available
for Disney Resort hotel guests as part of a package, beginning on October 9.
Earlier this week, Disney
World officials announced new details of the 2023 EPCOT International
Festival of the Holidays presented by AdventHealth, including new traditions,
entertainment, food and drinks.
