Disneyland Resort has just unveiled its mesmerizing lineup of live performances and entertainment for 2024, ensuring that visitors of all ages are able to experience its signature brand of magic and wonder.
While making new memories and reliving past traditions, families and friends can discover new favorites, as well as returning and reimagined offerings.
From one-on-one character encounters to group dance parties and cheerful street parades to dazzling nighttime spectaculars, the resort promises a kaleidoscope of awe-inspiring experiences to cherish in the coming year. Even if you came to the parks for the entertainment lineup alone, there’s more to be seen and experiences than you could pack into a single day and night. Here's a sneak peek at the wealth of entertainment that awaits guests at the Disneyland Resort in 2024.

At Disneyland Park
“Mickey’s Mix Magic” – performing January 8-March 21 and April 15-25: An energetic fusion of Disney melodies, dazzling projections and high-tech lighting effects transforms Disneyland Park into a family-friendly dance floor, and is enhanced on select nights by brilliant fireworks.
“Magic Happens” Parade – returns February 2: Many beloved magical moments from Walt Disney Animation Studios’ and Pixar Animation Studios’ films spring to life as majestic floats, talented dancers and enchanting costumes make their way down the parade route to a catchy musical score.
“Wondrous Journeys” – returns for a special presentation March 22-April 14: Created in 2023 to honor The Walt Disney Company’s 100th anniversary, this nighttime spectacular pays homage will reprise for a limited run. Iconic moments from a century’s worth of Walt Disney Animation Studios films are painted across facades of iconic park locales with mesmerizing lighting effects, projections and radiant fireworks.
“Together Forever – A Pixar Nighttime Spectacular” – returns April 26-August 4: This heart-heartwarming ode to the power of friendship returns this year with some new sequences as part of the limited-time Pixar Fest celebration, incorporating fireworks displays on select nights.
“Fantasmic!” – returns May 24: This fan-favorite nighttime spectacular will be back, illuminating the Rivers of America and Tom Sawyer’s island with new special effects, a heart-pounding new battle scene between Sorcerer Mickey and Maleficent, the iconic “Peter Pan” segment aboard the Sailing Ship Columbia and more.
Storytelling at the Royal Theatre: Join Renaissance men, Messieurs Smythe and Jones, along with some fellow villagers, as they bring classic tales, like “Beauty and the Beast” and “Tangled”, to life with whimsical humor and a bit of music.
Live Music: On Main Street, U.S.A. the Disneyland Band, Dapper Dans and Straw Hatters enliven the streets, while more, while New Orleans Square pulsates to the toe-tapping tunes of the Bootstrappers and the Jambalaya Jazz Band.
Seasonal Spectacles: Special events and festive periods will see the reprisal of specially themed nighttime spectaculars, like “Halloween Screams” and the magical “Believe… in Holiday Magic.”

At Disney California Adventure Park
“Better Together – A Pixar Pals Celebration!” – debuts April 26: This new daytime parade debuts during Pixar Fest, featuring favorite Pixar characters alongside stars of the latest films, like “Turning Red”.
“Disney Junior Dance Party!”: Youngsters can groove with Mickey, Doc McStuffins, and Vampirina during this lively gathering.
“The Amazing Spider-Man!”: Throughout the day, guests can witness Spider-Man’s amazing aerial acrobatics, performed on the rooftops over Avengers Campus.
“Warriors of Wakanda: The Disciplines of the Dora Milaje”: Near Avengers Headquarters, guests can become new recruits of the Dora Milaje, Black Panther’s butt-kicking bodyguards, and join them in training sessions.
“Doctor Strange: Mysteries of the Mystic Arts”: Also at Avengers Campus, Doctor Strange steps through an inter-dimensional portal to astonish guests with rare illusions, acts of sorcery and tales about his collection of mysterious relics.
“Guardians of the Galaxy: Awesome Dance Off!”: Star Lord and Gamora lead an intergalactic dance-off, set to rock and roll classics taken directly from Peter Quill’s treasured cassette tapes.
Live Music: Buena Vista Street resonates with swinging combo Five & Dime's jazzy tunes, while Pixar’s “Toy Story” Green Army Patrol marches through the park during “Operation: Playtime!”, and live musical acts often grace the Hollywood Backlot Stage and Paradise Garden Bandstand.
Special Seasonal Entertainment: A variety of special, limited-time entertainment also appears during festive events, such as Lunar New Year, Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival, and Disney Festival of Holidays.
Beyond the parks, the magic continues with nightly musical performances at Downtown Disney's new LIVE! stage and seasonal showcases at Disneyland Resort hotels, where talented artists captivate audiences year-round. Whether it's a child's first glimpse of live theater or an adult's nostalgic revisit to beloved tales, Disneyland Resort's entertainment tapestry promises memories that last a lifetime.
