For thrill seekers looking for a new experience this summer, the Universal Orlando Resort announced the opening of Fast & Furious - Supercharged.
The new Universal Orlando attraction will immerse guests in an authentic experience that puts people in the action of the Fast & Furious franchise, which has garnered a worldwide box-office of more than $5 billion.
As one of the highest-grossing film franchise of all time, Universal officials are bringing the Fast & Furious storylines, characters and high-speed cars to the theme park in order to captivate visitors at the park.
Some of the iconic characters being used in the new Fast & Furious - Supercharged attraction include Dom, Letty, Hobbs, Tej, Roman and Mia, which are all voiced and played by the superstars who made them popular.
Visitors to the Orlando park will join forces with the cast of Fast & Furious as they step into familiar settings from the franchise. They will be transported to the crew's warehouse headquarters, which will be filled with actual props, iconic scenes, authentic details and supercharged vehicles from the films.
With the soundtrack of the movies pumping in the background, guests will ride along with more than a dozen of the supercharged cars from the films. Park visitors will be able to enjoy the new Virtual Line system, which allows people to select a time to ride via the Universal Orlando app and then enjoy other experiences throughout the park until it's their ride time.
Universal Orlando will celebrate the opening of the attraction May 2 with a special evening event featuring several superstars from the Fast & Furious series. The star-studded celebration moment will be streamed live.
