A few lucky fans will have a chance at getting lost in the Bermuda Triangle with Kendrick Lamar.
Rolling Stone's Daniel Kreps reports Bacardi is throwing quite the Caribbean shindig, inviting music lovers to sign up to win a trip to Palomino for what is sure to be a raucous good time.
"This Halloween, Kendrick Lamar, Ellie Goulding and Calvin Harris will stage a concert in what's considered one of the most mysterious places on the planet: the Bermuda Triangle. Bacardi, who are hosting the October 30 to November 2 event, will rent out a private island in the Caribbean Sea and charter three jets from three cities (New York, Los Angeles and London) to fly contest winners to see the trio perform."
That certainly beats dressing up like Doctor Who or wearing Cobra Kai costumes to another Halloween bash thrown by your friends. Don't get us wrong, because we love explaining to people what we are supposed to be.
However, this Bacardi Triangle contest sounds like a lot more fun, offering, dare we say, swimming pools of liquor:
Pitchfork's Zoe Camp has more on the event, including why there will be just 1,862 winners, which is, "the same number as the year the company was founded."
As reported, three jets will be chartered from New York, Los Angeles and London. From there, the winners will be taken to the island that sits just off the coast of Puerto Rico, where five-star resort accommodations will be offered.
Here is a video from Bacardi explaining the three-day trip:
As the video promises, there will be 15 artists and, well, ear-splitting music to stuff into your ear holes.
You do, however, have to brave the sinister and mysterious qualities of the Bermuda Triangle first. Good luck.
