Madame Tussauds is getting in on the Star Wars festivities with an exhibit of iconic characters set to launch this May in London.
CNN, via FOX CT, reports, "Spread across two floors, the exhibit will feature replicas of 16 characters from both the original and prequel trilogies, including Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader and Yoda."
A brief video from Madame Tussauds London teases what fans will experience a bit later this year:
We feel a bit guilty in seeing what is essentially our version of Dagobah Land mentioned in our "7 Rides We'd Rather Not See at the New Star Wars Park" article.
Although officials certainly seem to be creating something far more whimsical and less, well, horrible than what we would imagine a trip to the swampy lands to be.
And as long as they don't force us to lift any X-wings we are game.
And the good news for anyone with a selfie addiction, you will have a chance to snap off a picture with your favorite characters.
Madame Tussauds London's general manager, Ben Sweet, stated, "Guests will not just be able to get close to their film heroes, they will be able to star alongside them and grab a selfie in specially recreated scenes of some of their favorite movie moments."
We would suggest heading to the gym immediately so you are in Princess Leia-bikini shape by May.
Now this news comes on the heels of yet more word that Disney would be releasing information on Star Wars attractions for its parks at some point this year.
And, of course, the world waits patiently for Dec. 18, which is the day that will change history for all mankind, or, more specifically, the day Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens opens.
This all means the planet is generally losing its collective mind over adventures that took place a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away.
You can find out more information as well as see images from the budding exhibit at Madame Tussauds official page.
