The most magical place on earth just got more expensive.
According to the Orlando Sentinel, Officials from Walt Disney World and the Disneyland Resort announced Sunday that admission prices for both theme parks would increase effective immediately. The change to peak, regular and value tickets, as well as annual passes for residents and non-residents, comes days after the company announced record-breaking attendance at Disney World.
Visiting Orlando’s Magic Kingdom on a one-day regular ticket will increase from $115 to $119, value ticket prices will jump from $107 to $109 and peak ticket prices will climb from $124 to $129 per person.
At Disney World’s Epcot, Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom parks, prices will increase from $107 to $114 for a one-day regular ticket, $99 to $102 for a value ticket and from $119 to $122 for a peak ticket.
Even the cost of parking at Disney World is on the rise, with prices jumping from $20 to $22 per day and from $40 to $45 per day for preferred parking.
“We know how important making memories at Disney theme parks is to families and we will continue to evolve our pricing in a way that gives families a range of options to meet their budget and helps better spread attendance throughout the year so they can make the most of every visit,” Disney spokeswoman Andrea Finger told the Orlando Sentinel.

The price changes also impact Disney fans on the West Coast. At the Disneyland Resort, the price of peak one-day tickets increased from $124 to $135, while regular one-day tickets jumped from $110 to $117, according to Reuters.com.
Though the new ticket prices are for adults, the cost of admission for children from three years old to nine years old is also on the rise. Value, regular and peak passes for kids now cost $103, $113 and $123, respectively.
