With the global popularity in culinary exploration and foodie tours, it was only a matter of time until someone started an epicurean adventure through the fantasy known as the Magic Kingdom.

Disney fan site, WDW News Today, is spilling the beans on a rumor that such a foodie tour-with a working title "Taste of the Magic Kingdom"-will launch at the theme park on October 1, 2017.
For now, this is not much more than a rumor, but according to WDW, the program will take "guests on a culinary tour through the popular snacks and dishes of the park." Official details are expected to be announced next month.
Fan comments on the post were less than enthused about a foodie program at this particular park, with several people claiming the Magic Kingdom is among the least impressive parks when it comes to culinary offerings.
Still, we think there's plenty to get excited about and have even put together a wish list of the ten items we'd most like to see on this tour.
Dole Whip
No doubt, tasty Dole Whip soft serve treats at Aloha Isle are mandatory when visiting the Magic Kingdom. On a warm Florida afternoon, there's nothing quite like a Dole Whip float to quench your thirst and give you an extra burst of energy.

Turkey Leg
While the Dole Whip likely tops any list of iconic Disney treats, the Giant Smoked Turkey Leg has to be a close second. This handy treat can be easily munched on the go and is found at the Prince Eric Village Market in Fantasyland, the Turkey Leg Cart in Frontierland and at the Liberty Square Market, according to the Disney Parks Mom's Panel.
All American Sundae
If the Magic Kingdom is the happiest place on earth, then the tantalizing waffle cones at the Plaza Ice Cream Parlor on Main Street have to be the source of the "happiest smell on earth." (Yes, we know the scent is amplified, and we don't care.)
Mickey Waffle
The super cute Mickey waffles are just too adorable to pass up. Surely they'd be a highlight on a foodie tour.
Fruit & Nutella Waffle Sandwich
Clearly, we're waffle fans here, but you can scratch off at least one serving of your daily required fruit and veggies with the Fruit & Nutella Waffle Sandwich at Sleepy Hollow in Liberty Square. Did we mention, they're made with Nutella?
Sweet & Spicy Chicken & Waffle Sandwich
If you prefer to eat waffles as part of the main course as opposed to a dessert, add some fried chicken and a little sweet and spicy sauce. You'll have a sandwich that's too good to resist.
The Grey Stuff
It's not the prettiest item on our list, but the "Grey Stuff" at the Be Our Guest Restaurant in Fantasyland is made of a chocolate shell with cookie crème. It. Is. Delicious.
Warm Cinnamon Roll
Even though we hum the annoying theme song every time we eat at Gaston's Tavern, it's totally worth it when that warm cinnamon roll hits our plate. It's ooey, gooey and oh so tasty.

Barbecue Pork Waffle Fries
It looks like another one of our favorites, the Barbecue Pork Waffle Fries are no longer available at the Golden Oak Outpost in Frontierland, but let's hope the Magic Kingdom brings them back just for foodie tour participants.
Club 33 Latte
Although, as of now, the ultra-luxe Club 33 private club is only available at Disneyland, rumors have been swirling that several Orlando parks will be getting their own versions of Club 33.
If so, what better way to promote the expansion, than by having tour participants sip on the sweet nectar of coffee with a Club 33 Latte?
