Representatives from Anantara Hotels, Resorts & Spas said the company is onn a roll at a press conference at the International Luxury Travel Market in Cannes last week.
The company has opened seven properties this year for a total of 26, said Anantara vice president for marketing, communications and public relations Marion Walsh-Hedouin during the press conference.
Anantara will open three additional properties in 2014.
This year, the Bangkok-based company also added three new destinations to its portfolio - Dubai, Cambodia and Mozambique.
It opened the 293-room Anantara Dubai The Palm Resort & Spa and the Anantara Angkor Resort & Spa in Siem Reap near Angkor Wat. The property features 39 rooms and suites and villas.
The 44-villa Anantara Bazaruto Island Resort & Spa on the northeast coast of Mozambique opens this month.
In China, Anantara debuted the Anantara Xishuangbanna Resort & Spa in the south of Yunnan Province. The property features 80 rooms and 23 pool villas.
The company opened its second hotel in Vietnam, the 94-room Anantara Hoi An Resort.
Anantara unveiled the 30-villa Anantara Sir Bani Yas Island Al Yamm Villas. The 30-villa Anantara Sir Bani Yas Island Al Sahel Villas will debut this month.
Three more properties will open next year, including Anantara's new flagship, the Anantara Phuket Lanyan Resort & Spa, with 77 suites and villas.
"It's our biggest opening of next year," said Walsh-Hedouin.
Other openings will include the 44-villa by Anantara Emei Resort & Spa, two-and-a-half hour's away from China's Chengdu; and the 141-room Anantara Doha Island Resort & Spa in Qatar, which marks the company's entry into the country.
Anantara is owned by Bangkok-based Minor Hotel Group, a hotel owner and operator.
