Disney World Now Accepting Reservations for Upcoming Riviera Resort

Walt Disney World Resort announced it was now accepting guest reservations for stays at the new Riviera Resort beginning in December 2019.
The new resort coming to the Florida theme park will be the 15th Disney Vacation Club property and immerse guests in the grandeur and enchantment of the European Riviera.
The Riviera Resort will welcome visitors with a palm tree-lined boulevard and a facade featuring grand archways, porticos, cascading water features, towers and terraces. In addition, the grand lobby that will provide views of the resort lawn and lakefront.
Disney’s new deluxe vacation club resort will offer around 300 family-friendly vacation homes, including deluxe studios, one- and two-bedroom villas and grand villas which sleep up to 12 guests each.
“Disney’s Riviera Resort is inspired by Walt and Lillian Disney’s travels throughout Europe and the Mediterranean coastline —from France to Italy,” Disney Vacation Club general manager Terri Schultz said. “Walt fell in love with European art, architecture, food and stories, and his extended tours of the region continue to influence Disney storytelling and theming. We look forward to welcoming our members and guests later this year to this new resort inspired by Europe and imagined by Disney.”
On the rooftop of Disney’s Riviera Resort, travelers will be able to eat at the Topolino’s Terrace - Flavors of the Riviera, as Topolino is the Italian name for Mickey Mouse. Other eating establishments include Le Petit Cafe, Primo Piatto and Bar Riva.
As a special bonus, guests staying at the new facility will have easy access to the upcoming Disney Skyliner, a gondola system that will begin operating this fall that can connect them to Hollywood Studios, Epcot and other resorts.
