Hampton by Hilton continues to expand its already impressive footprint.
The upper-midscale brand has opened five new U.S. hotels in the past month alone, it announced Wednesday, adding rooms in major markets like Chicago and Washington, D.C.
In addition to the Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Chicago-Burr Ridge and Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Glenarden/Washington D.C., the chain recently welcomed new hotels in Forsyth, Georgia; Tallahassee, Florida and Lafayette, Colorado.
Guests staying at the new Chicago-Burr Ridge property will be nearby to Downtown Chicago, while those at the Glenarden/Washington D.C. hotel will benefit from complimentary shuttle service to the Largo and New Carrollton Metrorail stations for easy access to the capital's many attractions.
The openings couldn't come at a better time either as a poll cited by the brand found that 46 percent of consumers plan to travel during Spring Break this March and April.
"Complementing Hampton's global growth and strengthening our U.S. portfolio, these new properties join our 2,300-plus hotels in offering guests a quality and high-value lodging option wherever their travels may lead them this spring," said Hampton by Hilton global head, Shruti Gandhi Buckley, said in a statement. "Our long-standing commitment to delivering best in class service, amenities and overall guest experience, backed by the Hampton Guarantee, have made Hampton the unrivaled segment leader and guest favorite for over 30 years."
Hampton by Hilton averaged two new hotel openings per week globally last year. Last month, the brand announced seven new openings, including properties in California, North Carolina, Kansas, Massachusetts and Missouri.
Hilton also signed a deal for a 126-room Hampton by Hilton hotel near France's Toulouse Airport.
