Hilton is doubling down on its investment in Mexico City.

The company recently opened Hilton Garden Inn Mexico City Santa Fe. It follows the December 2016 opening of DoubleTree by Hilton Mexico City Santa Fe.

The two hotels represent the first double-branded property by Hilton in Mexico, the company said in a statement.

"As one of the main commercial districts of Mexico City, Santa Fe is the ideal place for Hilton's first double-brand property in the country," José Muñoz, Hilton's vice president of operations for Mexico and Central America, said in a statement. "Having a DoubleTree by Hilton and Hilton Garden Inn property in this market has allowed us to offer guests two distinct brands with affordable accommodations and the amenities and services our customers expect from our hotel portfolio."

The new Hilton Garden Inn Mexico City Santa Fe, aimed at both business travelers and tourists looking for luxury accommodations, offers 190 rooms and suites. The DoubleTree by Hilton Mexico City Santa Fee has 172 rooms.

All of the rooms and suites feature exclusive brand linens, spacious desks with ergonomic desk chairs and a hospitality center in the room that includes a mini-refrigerator and a Cuisinart coffee machine. Suites meanwhile include microwaves and a living room. The new Hilton Garden Inn will offer free Wi-Fi, a connecting area in the main lobby and access to the indoor pool and state-of-the-art hotel gym at the DoubleTree property.

There will also be a variety of dining options at the new Hilton Garden Inn including The Garden Grille & Bar, which will offer freshly prepared Mexican and international dishes. The hotel's Pavilion Pantry will be open 24-hours for guests looking for a late night snack or items on the go, such as sandwiches, sweet treats, and ready-to-cook food.

Additional features of the new property include flexible meeting space and 13 meeting rooms shared with the adjoining DoubleTree hotel that can accommodate as many as 650 people.

Also noteworthy, the two hotels are located near one of the largest shopping centers in Latin America, the Santa Fe Shopping Center.

As an opening promotion, the hotel is offering 1,000 Hilton Honors points to guests who stay at the new Hilton Garden Inn between now and April 14.
