The Hyatt Centric brand, which focuses on lively hotels in the world’s most popular destinations, unveiled plans to open over 35 new hotels in destinations from Cincinnati to Shanghai through 2028.
The brand is expected to offer over 100 hotels by 2029, with substantial growth in regions like Asia Pacific and the Americas. The brand focuses on locally inspired art and events, gallery exhibitions and unique culinary concepts.

“The brand’s recent growth, including openings and planned developments, meets the rising demand from guests and members, especially Millennial and Gen Z travelers, for more contemporary accommodations with playful details, sophisticated furnishings and socially connected spaces.”

- Hyatt Centric Chicago O’Hare, opening in 2025 after a rebrand from the Hyatt Rosemont
- Hyatt Centric Isla Verde San Juan, opening in Puerto Rico this year
- Hyatt Centric Querétaro, opening in the Mexican city’s historic zone later this year
- Hyatt Centric Cincinnati, opening in 2026 in downtown Cincinnati
- Hyatt Centric Victoria — Old Town, opening in Victoria, British Columbia in 2026
- Hyatt Centric Winnipeg Downtown, opening as the second Canadian Hyatt Centric hotel in 2026
Asia Pacific
- Hyatt Centric The Ring Chengdu, opening in 2025 in Chengdu, China
- Hyatt Centric Bengaluru Airport, opening in 2026
- Hyatt Centric Electronic City Bangalore, opening in 2026 in Bangalore, India
- Hyatt Centric East Taipei, opening in 2026 as the fifth Hyatt hotel in Taiwan
- Hyatt Centric Shanghai Jinqiao, opening in 2026 near the Pudong Football Stadium
- Hyatt Centric TODTOWN Shanghai, opening in a mixed-use complex in 2026
