A 10-year-old girl in Russia managed to board an airplane without identification or a ticket and fly to St. Petersburg, calling into question the security protocols at airports in the country.
According to FoxNews.com, the young girl - whose name has not been released to the media - reportedly left home for school on Tuesday and ended up at Vnukovo International Airport in Moscow, Russia.

Once at the airport, the little girl started talking to a group of passengers in the terminal, allowing her to completely bypass security. After passing the security checkpoint, she managed to board a Rossiya Airlines plane alongside a large family with children.
The child's parents called police after realizing she did not come home from school, and authorities were called to Pulkovo International Airport where they found the 10-year-old wandering around unsupervised.
The girl told police that she just wanted to fly on a plane, but she was returned to Moscow a short time later. The incident has caused children's rights activists to question how this could have occurred.

Following the incident, the mother of the 10-year-old girl told media in Russia that she plans to sue the Moscow airport and Rossiya Airlines for failing to carry out proper security protocols.
