Small-group tour operator G Adventures celebrated a record-breaking January in which Canadian sales rose 54 percent from January 2024—and to thank the travel advisors who helped G Adventures break its sales goals, the operator is offering a 3 percent increase in additional commission through the month of February.
The extra commission is a newly added part of its G-Normous incentive program, which is currently going on now.
Any G Adventures trip a travel advisor books before February 28 will provide them an extra two percent commission. Any Geluxe trips booked will provide 3 percent in bonus commission. To receive the bonus commission, advisors can add the promo code ‘GNORMOUS’ into Sherpa during booking.
“January is our most important sales month, and our travel agent partners have knocked it out of the park, working round the clock to help connect their customers with the trip of a lifetime,” said David Green, managing director in Canada. “Over this last quarter, agency sales are 51% up compared to last year, and we’ve just seen the highest January sales in G Adventures’ history in Canada. Our agents have played a huge part in helping us to achieve this. I’d also like to say a huge thanks to our Canadian sales team, who continue to do an outstanding job in supporting our agency community with passion, purpose and happiness.”
Green noted that destinations further abroad are seeing some of the most sales, with a 33 percent increase in sales for trips to Japan, a 66 percent for Morocco, 43 percent increase for Ecuador, 40 percent increase for India and 37 percent increase for Peru compared to January 2024.
