At least 10 people have died as a result of the category five cyclone that hit Fiji on Saturday, The Weather Channel reported.
Tropical Cyclone Winston brought dangerous flooding and strong winds to the popular tourist destination, unleashing devastation throughout the country.
Hundreds of homes were torn apart, according to The Weather Channel. People were killed by flying debris. Two drowned during storm surges. Seven fishermen are still missing at sea.

The country is under a curfew until 5:30 a.m. Monday, and a 30-day State of Disaster was issued by The Fijian government, The Weather Channel said.
All tourists on the island nation were safe, Tourism Minister Faiyaz Siddiq Koya told The Weather Channel.

Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama addressed the country on Sunday, saying that many people had no power, fresh water or communications, The Weather Channel reported.
"This is a time of sorrow, but it will also be a time of action," Bainimarama said. "We will stand united in the face of this disaster."
