Hyatt Hotels Corporation debuted the Secrets Playa Blanca Costa Mujeres all-inclusive resort in a phased opening at the beginning of February. The adults-only resort offers 507 rooms with swim-up suite options, four pools, a beach and more. The entire resort's facilities will open by June 2024.

A report by the American Hotel & Lodging Association found that 72 percent of member hotels who were surveyed still struggled to fill open positions, despite having raised wages to a historic high and expanded benefits to attract more workers. The organization still encourages an expansion of the seasonal worker visa, along with the passing of the Asylum Seeker Work Authorization Act, which will allow asylum seekers a quicker way to begin working when they arrive in the United States.
