British Airways is throwing a massive naming contest for the chartered plane that will return its Olympians back from Rio.
Well, it's not so much a naming contest as it's a plea for people to choose from one of four names officials have already selected. It kind of takes the fun out the whole thing.
But it's understandable considering how a similar contest ran aground in the form of Boaty McBoatface.
The Daily Mail reports the airline is taking votes now on the plane that will help British athletes make their triumphant return back home.
When they do so, they will be board a plane that will boast a name far more creative than merely "That plane that is carrying all those athletes."
The four names being bandied about are Gold Force One, Golden Hauls, Mission Accomplished or VictoRIOus.
Each comes with their own strengths and we will rank in their just order shortly. However, you probably want to know how to go about voting on this if you are one of millions of British citizens who will cheer on so many proud athletes.
There. That is all you need to know in order to make Gold Force One the gold winner in this particular contest.
There is something so powerful, victorious and jubilant about that moniker. Also, it's not Golden Hauls, which is the name equivalent of scraping your shin on the hurdles.

We like Mission Accomplished to place second and victoRIOus to come in with the bronze for the simple fact that it isn't Golden Hauls.
According to the report, "Team GB and Paralympics GB athletes and BA staff" were nice enough to come up with the names.
And for the curious, the 2008 edition flew under the name Pride, which is simple and effective.
