There is one thing you should leave at home if you are traveling to any airport around the world, and that's an iPhone case shaped like a gun.

That's what one knucklehead traveler decided to tote to the Stansted Airport recently. And, yeah, he didn't make his flight.

Essex Police Stansted archived the unfolding events for those with a short memory, just so you don't get into the same predicament out there.

Here are a couple of tweets that highlight what one flier believed was a perfectly reasonable accoutrement to bring along his travel.

Essex Police later tweeted the following, which seems to suggests that the misguided person didn't quite make it to the plane thanks to the kerfuffle that would have taken place after officials spotted the case.

In replay to how much trouble something might like this might cause yourself, the Twitter account answers with the following:

Here in America, the TSA has long championed all the wild and weird objects it has confiscated in the past. Some are weapons and some merely look like weapons.

It's obvious, however, that any object that resembles a weapon will get you into trouble when traveling into a public place like an airport.

So it really should go without saying, but please leave your gun-shaped objects at home. You will be glad you did.
