In celebration of the June 15 release of Disney-Pixar's Incredibles 2, Alaska Airlines unveiled a special-edition plane Saturday that will feature the popular characters from the film franchise.
The Incredibles 2-themed plane is the airline’s first Disney-Pixar film livery and was revealed during Aviation Day in Seattle with more than 2,000 students in attendance. Guests were able to see the plane adorned with all of the Parr family members across the fuselage.

The Incredibles 2-themed plane is a Boeing 737-800, which began serving Alaska's route network Sunday. The aircraft will visit Disney-Pixar fans throughout the country via transcontinental routes and flights to Hawaii.
“This plane will delight guests of all ages from San Francisco to New York and beyond,” Alaska Airlines managing director Natalie Bowman said in a statement. “Like all of us at Alaska Airlines, many of our guests have anxiously awaited Incredibles 2. We're honored to take this incredible family to new heights and share the imagery with travelers across our expansive route network.”
“These characters are among the most celebrated characters in the Pixar family,” Incredibles 2 producers Nicole Grindle and John Walker said. “After waiting 14 years to see them on the big screen again, fans will love seeing them on their Alaska Airlines plane, too.”
Alaska also boasts Disneyland Resort-themed planes, including the Spirit of Disneyland II and the Adventure of Disneyland Resort Cars Land at Disney California Adventure plane.
