Cruise line Crystal has announced that the Crystal Symphony will undergo a three-week drydock this November, during which public spaces and two suite categories will be refreshed ahead of the line’s second annual Wellness Retreat sailings.
The ship’s Aquamarine and Sapphire Classic suites on Deck 10 will be refurbished with new furniture that closely aligns with the ship’s 2023 renovation. Designed by De Wave Group, guests will also see new carpet and wall coverings in these suites. Their existing layout and separate bathtub/shower bathroom configuration will stay the same.
Public spaces will also be improved, including the Atrium and Crystal Cove areas. The ship’s main gathering space will offer more seating and a more modern design, including a two-story mosaic, new chandelier and a different location for the piano.

The ship’s reception area will also be modernized, as will the Crystal Cove bar, stair lobbies and the Starlite Club, Deck 5 guest restrooms and the Bistro.

In addition to the cosmetic changes, the Crystal Symphony’s drydock period will also improve its technical capabilities, with a new hydraulic system for its fin stabilizers, installation of new fuel and oil purifiers to begin biodiesel use, replacing pipes for its freshwater systems and more.
