MSC Cruises is launching a new artificial intelligence assistant called MSC Concierge.
Available 24/7, the free service joins the existing MSC for Me digital ecosystem, allowing guests to make requests and ask questions through a conversational chat on their smartphone or tablet.
Available in 68 languages, MSC Concierge can answer questions, book services, make restaurant reservations, book spa treatments and reserve shore excursions, as well as check account balances or find entertainment.
No paid-for internet package is required—guests simply connect to the ship’s Wi-Fi.
It is now available on majority of the line’s ships and will be rolled out fleetwide by the of the month. During a pilot program, MSC Concierge saw a 93 percent service satisfaction score from over 170,000 guests exchanging over one million messages.
