Norwegian Cruise Line’s newest advertising campaign stars award-winning actor Eric Stonestreet.
Stonestreet, who was recently named the godfather of Norwegian Aqua, is best known for playing Cameron Tucker on the hit comedy “Modern Family.” The two-time Emmy Award-winning actor also appeared in “The Secret Life of Pets” and “Identity Thief,” and he hosted “Domino Masters.”
Now, Stonestreet can add the role of Norwegian Cruise Line brand ambassador to his resume. He’s the face of the cruise line’s new “Experience More” ad campaign, which features 15-second and 30-second spots.
The ads follow Stonestreet as he explores one of Norwegian’s vessels—including relaxing in the Thermal Suite of the Mandara Spa and Salon and racing through the world's only racetracks at sea.
He will also appear in other promotional materials across the United States and Canada via social media, digital platforms, television and mediums.
“Over the last few months, we have had the pleasure of getting to know Eric as he has spent time with our team, both shoreside and onboard,” says David J. Herrera, president of Norwegian Cruise Line. “We are excited for him to bring his relatability, authenticity and genuine charm as he spotlights how guests can experience more with NCL and have their very best vacation with us.”
Norwegian Cruise Line’s internal creative agency, Rebel Fish, came up with the creative concept behind the new “Experience More” campaign. The spots were directed by Jason Winer of Bodega Studios Los Angeles, who also directed more than 20 episodes of “Modern Family” and served as the show’s co-executive producer.
“Over the past few months, the NCL team has welcomed my family and I with open arms, showing us firsthand the big-hearted hospitality and guest service that NCL is known for, along with the amenities and offerings that cater to every type of traveler,” says Stonestreet. “Soon, I'll experience it for myself when I join my family for a bucket-list trip to Alaska next summer. As a new cruiser, it is an honor to have the opportunity to connect with future guests and show them how much more they can expect when they sail with NCL.”
