Princess Cruises is now partnering with a legendary Tuscany winemaker.
The cruise line is collaborating with the Frescobaldi family on a newly designed menu for its signature specialty restaurant Sabatini’s Italian Trattoria. Called “Inspired by Frescobaldi,” the menu features dishes inspired by the Frescobaldi family’s restaurant in Florence, Italy.
“Each dish is crafted with the same care and passion as the wines they’re paired with, creating harmony with every bite,” says Lamberto Frescobaldi, president of Marchesi Frescobaldi. “As we say in Italy, from our family, Frescobaldi, onboard Princess, salute.”
Guests can now indulge in dishes like Tortello di Ricotta al Pomodoro e Basilico and Guazzetto di Cozze e Gamberi, to name a few. Sabatini’s menu also now features new Frescobaldi wines, plus five new signature cocktails.
Each voyage will also feature a “Grand Tuscan Dinner,” a special multi-course dining experience celebrating Italian hospitality, wine and food.
The new offerings will be launching onboard the newly refreshed Majestic Princess, then rolling out fleetwide in the next few months.
“Since Sabatini’s first opened, guests have embraced the authentic tastes of Italy, the warm atmosphere, and, of course, the perfectly paired wines on the menu,” says Sami Kohen, vice president of food and beverage for Princess Cruises. “Our new collaboration with Frescobaldi elevates our connection to Italy, allowing guests to savor the rich flavors of Tuscany while creating unforgettable memories at sea.”
