To keep their cruisers entertained, ships make sure to bring in top-notch entertainment, including well-known performers and Broadway-quality shows.
To cater to their luxury travelers who like the finer things in life, Silversea Cruises has created an entertainment program that focuses on opera, ballet, bridge and culinary experiences.
Its Exclusively Yours Enrichment Program includes stirring performances from the Accademia Teatro alla Scala's Academy of Lyric Opera, and the State Academic Bolshi Theater in Russia.

Four opera soloists from the Accademia Teatro in Milan, Italy will perform librettos on-board the ship later this year. Soloists Daria Khoklova and Artemy Belyakov from the renowned State Academic Bolshi Theater will present three ballet performances during a Silversea cruise from Athens to Monte Carlo, with stops in Greece and Italy. Khoklova was born in Moscow and, in 2009, she graduated from the Moscow State Choreographic Academy (class of Elena Bobrova) and joined the Ballet Company of the Bolshoi Theater. Some of her performances include Nutcracker, Sleeping Beauty, Hamlet, and The Flames of Paris.
Born in Tver, Russia, Artemy Belyakov completed his studies at the Moscow State Academy of Choreography and joined the Ballet Company of the Bolshoi Theatre in 2010. In 2015, Artemy graduated from the Bolshoi Ballet Academy as a choreographer and has appeared in Swan Lake, Nutcracker, and The Flames of Paris. The ballet company currently has Giselle, Ivan the Terrible, and Don Pasquale scheduled as some of their theater performances throughout this year.
The first performance will take place in August on the voyage from Venice, Italy to Athens, Greece, followed by performances on the luxury voyage from Monte Carlo to Venice, Italy in September, and again from Athens, Greece to Venice, Italy in October.
Relais & Châteaux, which includes 520 hotels and gourmet restaurants in more than 60 countries, will provide signature dishes of La Collection du Monde. They will also offer Grands Chefs, 14 Silversea sailings that have been designated as Culinary Arts Voyages, providing a cooking school at sea.

They will also offer a Tastes of the Mediterranean Cruise that includes locally inspired culinary demonstrations, apéritif tastings, and vineyard strolls. David Chauvac, head chef of the Le Candille restaurant at Le Mas Candille hotel in Mougins, Provence, France, and Silvia Regi Baracchi, chef of the Faconiere restaurant in Tuscany, Italy, will offer informative cooking demonstrations and grand gourmet dinners.
In addition to high tea and other wine cruises, Silversea also has a Chocolate & Coffee Cruise, partnered with the coffee brand illy and the chocolate company Domori. The cruise will include lectures and cooking demonstrations.
For the bridge players, Silversea is offering daily Contract and Duplicate Bridge sessions, informative bridge lectures for beginning and intermediate-level players and games that are overseen by certified Life Masters from the American Contract Bridge League.
