Someone went an invented a suitcase Transformer, which transforms into a bigger, more spacious piece of luggage.
Don't act like you're not impressed.
The Huffington Post's Carly Ledbetter spotted a travel innovation that may just take a bit of the pain out of packing. At the very least, Fugu Luggage solves the dilemma of whether to pack the carry-on or the super-sized bag for your next trip.
Ledbetter writes, "Fugu is the brainchild of Isaac Atlas, and its unique name comes from the Japanese word for puffer fish, which also balloons in size."
Now you probably want to see this beast in action. Thankfully, the good people at Fugu posted the following video to explain the benefits of a suitcase that blows up quicker than an athlete on steroids:
As you can see, there is a suitcase lurking in that suitcase, which means you get far more suitcase for your buck.
Also, Xzibit is impressed:

Now don't run out to the store to buy one just yet, because they won't be available for a few months. The company is still crowd funding through Kickstarter, surpassing its original goal of $50,000 with a total that rests at, as of this writing, $315,596.
According to the Kickstarter page, $219 will get you a basic Fugu luggage package, due out in Aug. 2015. Pony up $395 and you get, among other things, Fugu luggage, laptop case, scale, luggage locator and a toiletry case.
We pored over the company's website for some more details. The luggage, sans your unmentionables, weighs 3.8 kilograms, will come in various vibrant colors and has "multi-directional 360° wheels" that are all the rage.
Fugu also promises the side walls are durable, so the luggage will stand travel tests when blown up to full size.
The website even states, "We've even placed it under the weight of a car to test its strength and durability." So you are taken care of if you are constantly losing your luggage under cars.
We do have to say there is always a gray area in packing for a few days, deciding if a bigger case is really worth the headache. Seeing how much money has been raised, it seems people agree that a possible solution is well worth the money.
