We are always on the lookout for pop-up art installations and odd attractions that invigorate our travels. Then there are those things so magnificently mundane that they become must-see landmarks.
Such is the case of the following grocery list.
That's right, according to Gothamist, there is a grocery list so amazing out there that you simply must stop by and see it if you have the time, and because it's lurking near New York City's Central Park, the chances are great that you will be nearby if you are traveling around Manhattan at the moment.
According to the report, the following images are of a sculpture named "Memorial" by the British artist David Shrigley.
It's of, well, a ho-hum grocery list - something you might jot down on paper before heading to the market or tap into your smartphone on a weekly basis.
While your very own personal missive wouldn't ever garner such celebration, one of this size certainly does.
Standing like the monolith in "2001's" opening is this gigantic list at the entrance of the Doris C. Freedman Plaza.
Its website gives us an idea of what the heck we are looking at and why it's now looming in one of the most famous public spaces in the world.

The website explains: "A reference to the civic monuments that dot the park and city, Shrigley's MEMORIAL celebrates the quotidian in monumental fashion. The new public artwork taps into both the absurd potential and poignant nature of the everyday."
In simple terms, there are myriad monuments that celebrate great feats that most will never dare accomplish, but this special slice of artistic endeavor raises the ordinary to extraordinary proportions.
The best part is that it highlights the importance of remembering to pick up some Nutella before you return home.
