As some may have noticed, the Patriots' Super Bowl win over the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday featured Julian Edelman and Malcolm Butler shouting that they were headed to Disneyland.
By Monday afternoon, it was the duo's time to shine in the Southern California sun along Disneyland's Main Street.
Of course, this was a peculiar turn in the grand tradition of shouting theme park destinations after a major win. The Orlando Sentinel's Richard Tribou reports on the decision that sent the two stars to the west instead of Orlando's Disney World: "This year's campaign though will only send the players to the West Coast, which isn't much of a surprise since the game was in Glendale, Arizona, and closer to the original Disney theme park. Disney World has hosted the parade for the last six years, with Eli Manning the last to appear at Disneyland after his first Super Bowl win 2008, which was also held in Glendale. Every Super Bowl since has been closer to Orlando."
Being just a short flight to Anaheim, officials were able to get this jubilant declaration amid the post-game buzz:
Edelman, the banged-up receiver who caught the winning touchdown pass, and Butler, the corner who stepped up for the game's biggest play, were all smiles on Monday.

We imagine the two tried to get in as much frivolity afforded to them by the magical theme park. Heck, we hear turkey legs work wonders for bumps and bruises.
But it will have to be short-lived, because New England's parade through Boston is scheduled to take place later this week on Wednesday.
Now remember that you too can celebrate personal triumphs with a trip to Mickey's magical kingdom. The jovial mouse even has resorts on both coasts to make triumphant parties all the more convenient.
