Tickets Now Open for Disney World's New 2023 Holiday Line Up: Here's What Each Park Is Offering This Holiday Season

Sure, we may be in the midst of summer, but it’s never to early to start preparing for Christmas at Disney, right?

The festive folks at Walt Disney World are already in the holiday spirit and recently unveiled a whole host of information about the 2023 Holidays at Disney lineup.

Tickets are now on sale as well. 

As anyone who has experienced the park during the holidays knows, it’s quite the eye-popping extravaganza. And each year brings new surprises, music, food and entertainment.

The holiday celebrations at Disney World will be spread across Magic Kingdom Park, EPCOT, Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park, and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The merriment will also include the return of the beloved tradition “Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party” on select nights from November 9 through December 22.

This year’s line-up also includes a brand new addition— “Disney Jollywood Nights,” a nighttime party that will take place at Hollywood Studios on select nights from November 11 through December 20. Read on for the highlights of each event.

 

Magic Kingdom Park

The holiday sights and offerings will include:

• Frozen Holiday Surprise – Gather ‘round Cinderella Castle for a new experience that will illuminate the castle like never before. The surprises here will feature Elsa, Anna, Olaf, Kristoff and the Snowgies. Check it out during regular park hours or at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.
• Seasonal Décor – Discover jolly holiday trimmings and touches along Main Street, U.S.A. and throughout the park.
• Jingle Cruise – During the holiday season, the Jungle Cruise undergoes a yuletide transformation offering festive-yet-familiar adventure from stem to stern.

EPCOT

At EPCOT visitors will be able to explore holiday traditions from around the world.

• EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays presented by AdventHealth – Be immersed in the sights, sounds and flavors of the season from November 24 through December 30, 2023. Savor treasured recipes from around the globe at Holiday Kitchens and embark on a journey with Holiday Storytellers sharing holiday traditions from around the world.
• Candlelight Processional – The story of Christmas will be presented by a celebrity narrator, accompanied by an orchestra and massed choir.
• Meet Santa Claus at the Odyssey Pavilion – Join Santa Claus in his snow-covered sleigh—November 24 to December 24, 2023. 
• Living with the Land – Glimmering Greenhouses – Enjoy a special voyage through greenhouses glimmering with dazzling lights—November 24 to December 30, 2023.
• More Holiday Entertainment – Watch as Holiday Storytellers bring beloved traditions such as Hanukkah, Christmas, Kwanzaa, Lunar New Year and more to life! Witness stories told through music and dance, with performers in traditional costumes—November 24 to December 30, 2023.

Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park

At Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park the magic of nature will combine with seasonal delights.

• Merry Menagerie – See Discovery Island come to life with artisan-sculpted puppets of arctic animals—like penguins, reindeer, foxes and polar bears.
• Tree of Life Awakenings Holiday Edition – Watch the park’s magnificent icon shimmer and sparkle each evening, accompanied by a musical score. Experience begins at dusk and is subject to change.
• Meet Favorite Disney Pals at Adventurer's Outpost – Pose for a photo with Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse all decked out in their holiday attire.
• Seasonal Décor – Discover festive trimmings and touches around the park.

Disney's Hollywood Studios

The season’s highlight at Disney’s Hollywood Studios will be the Frozen Singe-Along Celebration, a holiday finale featuring Olaf. This special new offering will feature moments from the Frozen movie played on-screen, followed by Anna, Elsa and Kristoff appearing to sing along with the audience. Additional highlights include:

• Sunset Seasons Greetings –The Hollywood Tower Hotel will be transformed nightly with holiday projections.
• Minnie's Holiday Dine at Hollywood & Vine – Dine with Minnie Mouse and her pals during  a merry meal. Advance reservations are recommended.
• Toy Story Land Characters in Holiday Attire – See some Pixar pals decked out for the season.
  
  

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party

The holiday tradition will return to Magic Kingdom this year on select nights from November 9 to December 22, 2023. The party allows park goers to celebrate the season with Mickey Mouse and pals, but reminder tickets must be purchased separately for this popular event.  The party includes:

• Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks show
• Disney Characters give a yuletide nod to the season during Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade
• The perfect picture with Disney pals dressed in their Christmas best
• Cookies and cocoa available in select locations at no additional charge
• Experience a winter wonderland as you witness a “snowfall” on Main Street, U.S.A
• Iconic Magic Kingdom attractions including some with a holiday twist

Disney Jollywood Nights

And last but not least, Disney is rolling out the new Jollywood Nights this year. This offering allows park-goers to celebrate the holidays in style at a brand-new nighttime party that will take place at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Happening on select nights from November 11 to December 20, 2023, this too is a separate-ticket event. Tickets to Disney Jollywood Nights include:

• Access to a shimmering holiday scene with glitz and glam galore
• Yuletide entertainment including live bands, a musical variety show and the return of the Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! nighttime spectacular
• Swanky venues and themed entertainment areas where visitors can dance the night away
• Lower wait times for some favorite areas, since the number of tickets for this event is limited
• Encounters with nostalgic Characters as they spread holiday cheer
• Specialty sips and bites available for purchase—including savory dishes, sweet treats, classic cocktails and an assortment of specially-curated holiday beverages 
• All-new Disney PhotoPass offerings including receiving downloads of your Disney PhotoPass digital photos and videos from the event, included with your event ticket.

In separate news, Disney also recently announced special holiday season discounts. As TravelPulse previously reported, the Resort is running a new special offer on stays at several Disney World hotel properties during the final months of 2023.
