Palladium Hotels & Resorts has added Pido's Surf Party - a weekly tropical-themed disco party hosted by Raggs Band drummer and surfer dude, Pido - to its Raggs programming.
The event includes a live DJ and sing-a-long videos on big screens. Leis, tropical shirts, grass skirts and fresh fruit drinks are distributed during the event.
"The party climaxes with balloons tumbling from the ceiling and everyone dancing," said Ricardo Canales, Palladium Hotels & Resorts entertainment manager for the Americas. "The kids love being in the disco and dressing up and they really get into singing along with their favorite Raggs Band songs."
The Raggs characters are featured in Palladium's Mini Club and at events throughout the resorts.
Palladium features age-tiered programming for kids from one to 19. The company has all-inclusive resorts in Mexico in the Riviera Nayarit and Riviera Maya, in Jamaica in Montego Bay and the Dominican Republic in Punta Cana.
The television series "Raggs" features five musical canines that perform educational songs. In the U.S. and Canada, the show airs in English on public television and in Spanish on Telemundo.
