Carnival Sunrise is back on the water, just in time for spring break.
After spending the last month in dry dock in Cadiz, Spain, the ship has made it back across the Atlantic. Carnival Sunrise set sail Tuesday for the first time from its new homeport of Miami.

The 2,984-guest vessel also now has a “Heroes Tribute Bar & Lounge” onboard, a venue honoring military personnel that Carnival Cruise Line has been rolling out across its fleet. The bar and lounge is meant to be a gathering space for all veterans and activity-duty military personnel that choose to spend their vacation onboard a Carnival ship.
The cruise line also supports military families by raising money for Operation Homefront, a nonprofit that offers short-term assistance relief programs and recurring support for U.S. military service members and their loved ones.
Carnival recently welcomed a brand new ship to its fleet: Carnival Jubilee. The vessel debuted in December from Galveston and, last week, godmother Gwen Stefani celebrated the official naming of the ship.
