Dog-Friendly Cruise Announces Onboard Veterinary Team, Offers Deals for Veterinarians

The first dog-friendly cruise will have a team of skilled veterinarians onboard to help take care of guests’ four-legged friends.

Cruise Tails is partnering with Coastal Animal Clinic in Florida for the sailing. Veterinarians from the practice will join the November departure to help ensure the safety and well-being of all the pets on board.

“We are so excited to embark on this journey with Cruise Tails and Margaritaville at Sea,” says Dr. Brooke Certa, DVM and chief executive officer of Coastal Animal Clinic. “We're thrilled to combine our love for travel, passion for veterinary medicine and our obnoxious need to boop as many little noses as we can, all in one place. This adventure is going to be extraordinary, and the impact it will have on emphasizing the human-animal bond will be life-changing.”

Cruise Tails is also running a “veterinarian special” that includes half-price fares. Interested veterinarians who book one person at the regular price in a non-dog cabin will get the second, third and fourth passengers for $399 per person.

Veterinarians can also enjoy up to $200 in onboard credits, and they can take advantage of continuing education classes offered during the voyage. They must book by February 26 to get the deal.
