Oceania Cruises is sending the 1,250-guest Riviera to Alaska in 2025.
From May through September, Riviera will explore The Last Frontier, with itineraries ranging from seven to 12 days in duration. Cruises will depart from Seattle, Vancouver and Whittier, with a naturalist on board to share knowledge and insights about No. 49.
Oceania is offering a variety of food-focused shore excursions in Alaska, from an Alaskan-style brunch to an exclusive crabbing experience and more.
Families who travel on Riviera can take advantage of Oceania’s Alaska Explorer Youth program, which is designed for children ages 5 to 12 years old. Guests can extend their trip with a pre- or post-cruise land program to destinations like Denali National Park.
"Our elegant, ultra-premium small-ship experience offers the perfect juxtaposition to Alaska's outdoor adventures, and with Riviera being 30 to 50 percent smaller than other premium cruise lines sailing in the region, we're able to bring our guests to lesser-known, more remote ports, for a true immersion into this fascinating destination," says Frank A. Del Rio, president of Oceania Cruises.
