Oceania Cruises is launching three new itineraries in Africa and Asia in 2024 and 2025.
The new cruises will be offered aboard the newly renovated ship Riviera, which can accommodate 1,250 guests. Guests can choose from a 59-day voyage from Barcelona to Singapore, a 27-day cruise from Barcelona to Cape Town or a 32-day trip from Cape Town to Singapore.
All told, the itineraries will include more than 400 different shore excursions. They depart in November and December.
"These longer, destination-immersive voyages offer curious, well-traveled guests the chance to explore some of the most off-the-beaten-path ports in the world, all from the elegant surroundings of Riviera,” says Frank A Del Rio, the cruise line’s president. “Sailing from Europe to Asia, via both coasts of Africa, is a true bucket list journey, combining iconic cities and unknown gems, with our incredible onboard service and the best value in luxury cruising, these voyages are hard to resist.”
The new itineraries are part of the cruise line’s “simply MORE” offering, which includes free roundtrip airfare and airport transfers; free Wi-Fi; free specialty dining; free soft drinks and specialty teas and coffees; free champagne and wine during lunch and dinner; and a shore excursion credit of up to $2,600 per stateroom.
The cruise line recently refurbished Riviera, which features 291-square-foot standard staterooms, larger showers and upscale decor. The redesign also included a refresh of the public spaces, bars, lounges and dining venues onboard.
Next up, the company plans to renovate its Marina ship starting in May. Once that work is complete, all of the ships in the line’s fleet will have been refurbished.
