With sales set to open for the 1,200-guest Allura on Sept. 13, 2023, Oceania Cruises provided details on the ship’s 2025 inaugural summer season.
Allura – whose sister ship, Vista, entered service in May 2023 – is scheduled to depart on its seven-day maiden voyage from Athens to Istanbul on June 8, 2025.
In all, the ship will feature 26 inaugural season itineraries 11, 14, 17 and 34 days, with calls at upward of 92 destinations.
The destination roster will include more undiscovered ports such as Cádiz, Cagliari, Messina, Palma de Mallorca, Palermo and Cinque Terre, and overnights in cities like as Istanbul, Monte Carlo, Quebec City, Montreal and New York.
Following its inaugural season in the Mediterranean, Allura will reposition to Canada and New England prior to its winter season in the Caribbean.
Like Vista, Allura will be equipped with myriad specialty dining options and signature restaurants, in addition to a new Crêperie serving crêpes and waffles during the morning hours and gelatos in the afternoon.
Allura will also debut a new social hub at the top of the ship with a “living room ambiance” where “The Library and digital center come together to serve our guests in a new way.” Oceania said.
“Allura will continue the evolution of the Oceania Cruises experience,” Del Rio said.
“At their inception, our ships Marina and Riviera were heralded as two of the most beautiful and perfect cruise ships ever built; Vista, and now Allura, carry forward this vision, building on and embodying the evolution of perfection.
“We cannot wait to welcome Allura to the fleet.”
