Princess Cruises is launching its largest-ever Americas season in 2025-26, with 278 cruises sailing to destinations in Hawaii, Mexico, the Caribbean and beyond.

The 2025-26 season, which the cruise line unveiled today, will include sailings that depart from seven North American ports: San Francisco and Los Angeles in California; Fort Lauderdale and Port Canaveral in Florida; New York City; Vancouver, British Columbia; and Galveston, Texas.

When bookings open Dec. 20, travelers and travel advisors will be able to choose from a wide array of itineraries in the Eastern and Western Caribbean, the Panama Canal, the South Pacific, the California coast and more. Trips range in duration from four to 54 days.

The cruise line will also be hosting a special sailing to celebrate the 60th anniversary of its first cruise, which set sail in December 1965 aboard the 90-guest Princess Patricia. The 14-day anniversary cruise will take place in the Mexican Riviera in December 2025.

Princess also shared plans for its two newest ships, Sun Princess and Star Princess, which are currently under construction. Both will sail 7-day Eastern and Western Caribbean itineraries departing from Port Everglades near Fort Lauderdale during the 2025-26 season.

"Sun Princess and Star Princess will deliver epic vacations and magnify the beauty of the Caribbean by offering guests the most celebrated views and vantage points available of the islands' crystal blue waters and exotic charm,” says Terry Thornton, the cruise line’s chief commercial officer.

In addition, Sky Princess will become the line’s first Royal Class ship to make Port Canaveral near Orlando its homeport. The vessel will offer Eastern and Western Caribbean sailings in 2025-26.

Meanwhile, in Monfalcone, Italy, construction is now officially underway on Star Princess, the 4,300-guest vessel set to launch in the summer of 2025. Princess Cruises executives visited Fincantieri Shipyard on Monday for the ship’s keel-laying ceremony.

Star Princess will be the sister ship to Sun Princess, which is set to debut in early 2024. The two vessels are 20 percent bigger than any of the cruise line’s current ships.

"Our multi-decade shipbuilding collaboration continues to progress as we build spectacular ships that are enabled by the most advanced technology available while infusing magnificent Italian craftsmanship and respecting beautiful Princess design heritage," says John Padgett, the cruise line’s president.
