Burger King Canada, in its infinite wisdom, finally decided to add a Whopper to its marvelous monstrosity known as poutine.
FoodBeast's Isai Rocha has the skinny on this glorious International gut bomb:
"They already had poutine on the menu, all they had to do to upgrade it was throw in a chopped-up Whopper.
They're calling it Poutine a la Burger and it has all the poutine essentials like their french fries, cheese curds and gravy. Then they add the all the burger ingredients you'd see in a classic Whopper over it, such as a chopped ground beef patty, mustard, ketchup, and pickles."
This report comes with a side of meat sweats, it seems.
Rocha continues that those who scoff in the face of heart disease can also order their poutine with bacon, which is like Michael Bay considering one of his movies as too understated and adding more explosions.
Thrillist offers a glimpse of the heaping bowl of regret:
The Huffington Post has some bad news/bad news items in regards to the poutine. Apparently, this dish has been given the "limited time only" mark of shame, so get yours now…or just take a bite out of an actual cow. They also noted the nutritional information you can find at Burger King Canada's website. As noted, this one dish will set you back, "880 calories, 46 grams of fat and a whopping 1,490 miligrams of sodium."
We don't even want to know how many hours on the elliptical that equates to.
Now this is hardly the only international burger news, because Burger King recently opened its first location in New Delhi, featuring non-beef Whoppers for the masses that could apparently reserve them on eBay.
Those in India or Canada, we would love to hear what these new concoctions taste like. Although don't ruin that figure on our account.
