The classic Jurassic Park film franchise will come to life May 11-12.
For a 25th-anniversary celebration at Universal Studios Hollywood, visitors will take part in an exclusive event that features a private screening of Jurassic Park at Universal CityWalk's new Universal Cinema, after-hours access to the theme park and a chance to enjoy Jurassic Park-The Ride.
The festivities were created in partnership with Universal Pictures and Amblin Entertainment and the event will be separately ticketed. Park officials said space is limited and tickets are expected to sell out.
In addition to special Jurassic Park shows and attractions, guests will receive a commemorative lanyard and unlimited access to all things Jurassic, including the theme park ride, original props, dinosaur maquettes, costume displays and an interactive expo area.
Universal visitors will also be able to enjoy live entertainment, themed food and merchandise for the Jurassic Park party. For those planning to attend, the park said guests are invited to dress up as their favorite character from the franchise.
In other Universal news, excitement for the 2018 edition of Halloween Horror Nights is growing after tickets went on sale. Universal Orlando and Hollywood also announced each park will feature a maze dedicated to Netflix's Stranger Things.
